We’ve been out on our Scunthorpe site this week visiting the Ore Blending Plant and the Sinter Plant. In the video you can see the raw materials stacked in layers, being agitated by the reclaimer machine which then scoops up the material and delivers it to a conveyor belt. 1 bed can contain 380,000 tonnes of a calculated mix of Iron ores (Ferrous), Limestone and Dolomite (Fluxes) and coke breeze (Carbon).
