TARZAN BUBBLE GUM Tarzan Bubble Gum was a beloved treat for many Filipinos in the 80s and 90s. Made by Philip Sweets Manufacturing Co., Inc., it became the local counterpart to Bazooka Bubble Gum. Its colorful wrappers—blue, pink, green, and yellow—made it stand out in sari-sari stores. While Bazooka was known for its comic strips, Tarzan was remembered for its unique cola-like taste with a hint of cinnamon. Many kids enjoyed it despite its tough texture, which made blowing bubbles a challenge.
