This is Joelle: She teaches yoga, ballroom dancing, and demonstrated here, “steel mace flow.” She shared with me how steel mace is a fitness modality, but also a weapon. It’s 10 pounds. It’s unevenly weighted, eight pounds in the head and 10 and two pounds in the tail. “So it’s really great for core shoulders.” Being in her 50’s, she wanted to find a fitness option that was “durable” for her body.
