Solar eclipse 2024: How to watch safely, where to get solar viewers

On February 17, an annular solar eclipse will cross Antarctica, with the Moon covering 96% of the Sun. A blazing ring of fire will glow for about 2 minutes 20 seconds along a narrow path in western Antarctica. Partial eclipses will be visible from southern South Africa, Mozambique, Madagascar, and southern Chile and Argentina. Most of the world can watch via livestreams. This is the first of six solar eclipses over the next three years. Never look at the Sun without certified eclipse glasses ☀️�
