The strong easterly winds continue here in Orkney. We're use to worse winds than this but for shorter periods. It's been like this since I got back to Orkney at the beginning of the week. The 24/7 howling in dismal grey skies is grindingly tedious and next week is forecast to be much the same. Sheep are all fine. Natural wind sheltered areas or windbreaks as I've constructed plus a warming rumen full of winter grazing or hay is all the Boreray sheep need to be healthy and not unhappy in these co
